I had booked couple of items from them sometime back. The recent one is a slim blu-ray drive for my htpc. The price shown will be a breakup of all the charges till it gets delivered to your address. I think they are reliable and you can get the tracking info as well. The price includes shipping/customs/taxes etc., Mostly it takes 2 to 3 weeks time to get the delivery of the item.

they cancelled my order saying it is out of stock
They cancelled my order too. And the same thing happenned to my friend.So, looks like $99 tablet is still out of reach.

I have placed 4 orders in different websites Bestbuy, B&N, Staples ... all my orders cancelled saying its out of stock .. i guess its sold in store more to avoid shipping hazzles ...
its been a big commotion here for last week. Always was a hit or miss in b&m stores. Most stores also decided to rather return the stock to HP. The biggest stock was with HP. Those who placed order before 2pm eastern time were able to get it. Most other stores just cancelled the orders.

I have being scouting for this touchpad for the whole day today (today being the labour day sale), but didn't came across any in any of the stores.

Apparently '6th Avenue' a retail chain with three outlets in New Jersey, had some Touchpads for 'labour day sales'. But, as expected the news had spread well in advance and people had camped out overnight, in front of the stores and thus whatever little stock they had was sold out within minutes of the outlets opening on Monday.

My son has sent the Touchpad by USPS Priority Mail International, while tracking it shows that the parcel was cleared by the Customs department Delhi on 1st September 2011, but till yesterday I have not received it or there is no change of the status on tracking.

USPS (US Postal Service) Priority Mail means that it will be handled by the Indian Postal Department. That fact should be enough to explain why there are no updates. You might want to contact your postal office regarding the package and try to trace it from there.
