for a audio pc, basically any damn cabinet will do, unless looks are important.:lol:
underclock the cpu, see if you can get away with passive cpu cooling like a heat sink.
use 5400 rpm drives. dont go for 7200rpm as these sound like a freakin machine gun. 5400 is nearly silent.
replace the fans with low db fans.
And you are all set...
check if you can send 24bit 192khz over usb. i remember reading otherwise somewhere.
