Integrated amp for Paradigm Monitor 9 series 7

I heard the monitor 9 yesterday on a cambridge audio azur 840a amplifier which is on the warm side and I was not impressed. I'm not sure why everyones saying it's bright because I found the speaker too warm for the warm amp compared to my e875's which I always felt was on the warmer side. I strongly suggest against amps with warmer sounds and go for amps with brighter presence.

Having heard that amp, I wouldnt really call it warm.

I wasnt impressed by it either. With a pair of somewhat hard to drive Dynaudio Audience 52s, it was pretty dull and lacking in dynamics.

It's about synergy, I heard the azur on the para, and two high end b&w's and all three of them sucked compared to when i paired it with my jamo e875's.

OT for this thread :) But whole heartedly agree. Energy CF-50s sounded very different when heard on Onkyo vs. Denon. Totally sounded deflated on my Denon! Was a different story when paired with Paradigms.
