What is an IR Blaster any way?
Anup, you will not find IR Blaster in regular shops. You have to find a dealer who can get one configured/made for you or get one from a regular manufacturer.
An IR blaster is a receiver/sender that extends the IR signals from your remote through a cable. Many times, you may not able to place your equipment in a direct line-of-sight or directly in front of you. You may, at times, have to hide some equipment inside a cupboard or behind dark glasses.
What you do in such cases is to stick an IR repeater in front of the IR sensor on your equipment. The repeater is connected to a common box that has all the IR repeaters plugged in. The box is then connected by a cable to an IR receiver that is positioned openly in your line of sight. When you use a remote control, the signals are picked up by the receiver and simply transmitted to the IR repeater that retransmits the signal to the unit's inbuilt IR sensor.
Though you need only two cables to carry an IT signal, mostly the connection is done through a CAT 5 cable that can also carry other signals.

Search for MCE remote in ebay. You will get it in the price range of 1800 and above.
The cheapest one (without a MCE remote) is this

I know a guy in Chennai who makes this. I have seen it working in many places. It will costs some 2500. If interested send me a PM.
