This album of Alabama's " The closer you get..." is a duplicate from Hong Kong that I got during the 80s! I gave away most of the duplicates that I had (usually from Hong Kong). This is the last one in my collection! The music reproduction is pretty good too!

Duplicate, sometimes called as bootleg, in few case commands a very high premium among collectors..

for eg,, Sex Pistols bootleg

Hi Souravin,
The record in the first pic is pressed by Irangram Co, which was one of Iran's main record companies. In fact, the address given is Takhte Jamshid Avenue (or Persepolis Avenue) in pre-revolution Tehran. IMO, it may not be a bootleg as Iranians were big fans of Bollywood & film music in the 1960s.

I had thought that bootlegs were very different to pirated copies of commercial recordings. In my mind, bootlegs are "alternative" recordings, eg those made at live venues. As such, the music can be unique. Probably any serious fan of a band would have bootlegs in their collection.

The Grateful Dead, although jealously protective of the copyrights in their issued discs, made a point of encouraging concert taping. As a result, there is an enormous archive of freely available live performances.

The term bootleg refers to any illegal or illicit product, including unofficial (such as those made at a concert) or unlicensed (pressings made without obtaining rights) recordings.

Few more examples of bootleg (??)

And how do we name this print. During early 70s, Polydor came into Hindi Film music and HMV also made parody of their releases. Is this a bootleg?

Here a few Malaysian pirate records. These were given to us by my brother's God Mother when we were kids. They were (and still are) based out of Malaysia.
