"F" series is 2012 model while "H" is 2014 model... Some features might be added to H series than F series...
Try to compare both models on Samsung website using product compare & find the differences...

Its entirely ok to run for lobg hours but just to change channels evety half hour particularly during the initial 200 hours, idea is to avoid image retention. And switch on all features which help in reduving image retention like pixel orbiter etc.

My first post for this forum. I am looking to buy a 3d tv. After a bit of research I have zeroed in on plasma. Presently I am using sammy 32UA5000R. I wanted to stick to samsung (not mandatory though) and found 43H4900 to be the cheapest one (38-40k on flipkart). I would be using it in my bedroom with a viewing distance of 10-12 feet. I have checked out the 51H4900 from a 2 ft distance on display next to couple of LED (sammy as well as sony) and found it to be really vivid and truly wow!. However curiously enuf 3D was not mentioned on it. I just wanted to clarify whether apart from H4900 is there any other model/ brand which I need to consider before purchasing it. there is almost 15k difference between 43inch and 51inch for H4900. So 42-43 would be my prefered range. help from experts/users is much appreciated.

I was speaking with my friend and he told i did a wrong by choosing that tv. He said it was pentile panel. Can you please someone clarify? I can only change before morning 10 am.
Otherwise they will deliver the tv.

I ordered 51F5500
It is not available in my city. So I need to wait for two more days.
I saw the demo of 43H4900.
Even in showroom, I asked them to turn off the lights. It was great. 3D was very good.
I was quoted 51H4900 for 57k and 51F5500 for 68k.
The F model is Smart, 3D and Full HD. So i decided to go with it. 0% interest. Document charges Rs.1440
I will let you know more details in two days.

No i finally settled for a LED as prices jumped up by 3k even on flipkart....and also the initial running would prove to be a difficult given that both of us do not stay at home and the TV is mostly operated by my 3 yr old daughter and her nanny (not much a technology expert)....so i went for another bargain at flipkart and got a pana 42as670d.....just loving it....apart from brightness....black levels are brilliant and motion is vastly brilliant from my samsung 32 (series 5).....3D is passive (polarized) hence soothing to the eye...but miss the details of active 3D
