Very good deal. But verify that it is not a display piece that is being offered.

Your location says "here". Where is "here"? :)

I'm from Hyderabad :) . He says its not a display piece . the price what he quoted is same all over india 55994 /- croma . He doesn't want to give any freebie :( .

I want to get it today but i'm confused .

Good deal I would say.. go for it.

Thx for the replies .

I finally booked it today . But the punch was that it is only one year panasonic warranty . I thought it was 3 years but then he told me that he contacted panasonic and they said its only one year .

He told me there are 1 or 2 pieces left in croma . I almost contacted every shop in hyderabad but the prices they were quoting were around 65-70k .

The tv should arrive tomorrow afternoon .

Btw should i take croma warranty for 3000rs ?

Update : i was told again that its going to be 3 years warranty .

Tv has been installed and the picture quality is amazing .

I was given TY-EW3D3MW glasses . I don't think i will be using 3d at the moment . So i was planning on selling them ... does anyone know a good place to sell them ?

I think you should keep the glasses just in case. The ST30 (2011 model) glasses are not compatible with the 2012 series.

If you wish to sell, you can put it on sale right here on the forum in the "Sale by Owner" section. Remember to read the sticky post describing the rules.

I wont be using 3d much . Ill buy universal glasses when i need them . I think im not allowed to post on sale by owner forums as i'm a new member and have to wait 31 days .

are there any other places you know ?

bro sorry to inform but newer models have just arrived. (42XT50) but the model that you have bought is still belived to be one of the best.

the 42xt50 was available when i bought it . They were giving away free 3d glasses and ht with it . It was also 4k cheaper . The reason i went with 42st30d is because it was full hd .

Universal 3D glasses are not compatible with Panasonic 2011 models. The 2011 Panasonic glasses used to cost Rs. 9,000+. Prices are slightly reduced but still exorbitant. Hence I advice you to keep the 3D glasses.

But if you wish to sell them, you can try eBay.

No comparison between ST30 and XT50. The ST30 is really superior. But then it comes to what you are going to watch. If it is DTH/Cable, the Xt50 is a better option in the sense that ST30 will not deliver greater pleasure. But the fact is also that you got the ST30 at a price little more than the XT50. Hence your decision was right.
