Isoacoustics GAIA speaker isolators

How much of a difference in SQ can you make out with the Gaia isolators over the stock feet supplied..
One of the early adoptors of IsoAcoutics Gaia

Right now using the Gaia II and also have their Isoacoustics Monitor stands for my Studio monitors

Very impressive product which can bring in instant difference to your setup

I do not like the presentation of the Gaia IIs with my Turnberry. It softes transients which I absolutely can't stand
Does that happen because of the micro movements of the speaker on these type of devices ? I never really understood these kind of devices under loudspeakers. To me, a frame where a driver is fixed needs to stay fixed to earth. All movements from any driver fixed on it and the resulting sound vibrations is then driven forwards (or everywhere) from a strongly fixed position. There is a logic to that. What if the frame on which the driver is fitted itself is subject to vibrations that are in harmony to the vibrations of the driver ? Can someone shed some light on this?

I understand speakers like harbeth and their lossy philosophy with the stands and all. My questions is surrounding the other types of loudspeaker designs. Cd transports on isolation devices is also easily understood.

If the speaker is allowed to move then part of the energy that would have produced sound will be lost/dissapated in the movement of the speaker box. This should be detrimental to the sound. One of my thought is that most of the sound difference you will hear from adding isolation feet is due to the change in height of the tweeters. How high the tweeter drivers are from the floor. The sound from the HF drivers is extremely directional. So change in height definitely will alter what you hear at the listening position. Depending on the height of the tweeter and the height of the ears in the sitting position, something like this could either improve or deteriorate the sound. Never personally tried these isolators and hence cannot prove my theory.
