Hi,
Can anyone look at the below pic and tell me what's causing this issue? The issue was there right from the day 1. Couple of LG guys showed up and tried to resolve the problem but in vain. They spoke about replacement, But I told, It'd be better if they can change the board alone and not replace the entire thing. After that I didn't hear from them.

The issue occurs only when connected to direct power source or voltage stabilizer. (The voltage supply from power point was ~180v and from the stabilizer was ~206v.)
Right now I have connected this with my UPS (~220v) and it works just fine.

Should I panic?

Thanks in Advance.

Does this occur with all inputs cable, video, etc. ?

What connection mode are you using connect TV to PC ?

Grounding proper at your place ?

Very strange problem indeed. Try checking the following.
1) Which time of the day you have ~200-220V? Try testing at that time with and without stabilizer.
2) If it does not work..try testing at a different premise/building. It may be a Supply issue which the TV cannot handle.
3) Check the stabilizer if it cannot handle the load of the TV.

If none of the above fails to make you convinced, call the technician immediately.
If they have themselves asked for replacement..why are you holding back?

Thanks for your replies guys. I've made up my mind to ask for replacement.

cyber_cat - Checked only with HDMI. But connections isn't a problem. As without any connectors, the tv will still display like that and sometimes the TV doesn't switch on. Grounding is proper.

surjya - All time the voltage is low. Gonna make the replacement

baijuxavior - Like I said, it's just been a month. Warranty is there.

lake1988 - Yup. Changed my mind. Gonna ask for replacement
