JBL L112 restoration

hi,
i purchased JBL l112 speakers from USA and my friend shipped these to me.
major restoration was done in last 10days.
now i am enjoying them.
i compared them with Yamaha NS1000m and the results will follow.
the restoration involves
1)cabinet was fully sanded and polished.
2)the scratchy L pads was removed from cabinet and cleaned with contact cleaner and deoxit5.
3)the single binding posts are replaced with 5way binding posts.
4)the damaged grill cloth was replaced with black transparent(vial cloth) cloth.
5)all the drivers are perfect working condition,hence only cleaned and placed back.
6)the crossover net work checked and found all the connections are good hence no work was done.you can see from images that the crossover and speaker components placed near to my dell laptop for comparison.

Way back I use to own JBL L110 (early version of L112). Lower end was well rounded and deep. Tweeters sounded bright but slightly metallic. But seriously lacked in lower mid-bass region.
I also owned L150 then. The 12" woofer are same for L112 & L150.

I can provide parts & service for L110 & L112 (with genuine American replacement parts)..........
Woofer recone kits.... for LE111A & 128H Woofers.
Replacement foam surrounds.
Mid-range recone parts for LE5-10 & 2104H mid.
Diaphragms for L110 only for 033 tweeters.

L112 will best match with late 80's Marantz amp's PM710.
I had tried L110 with Sansui AU D11, AU 919 & Pioneer SA9500, but best match was with the Marantz PM710. Very well balanced & articulate sounding amp when combined with L112 & L150 too.
