Hi Friends.

I am Desi, joined the Forum a long time back but never been able to get enough time to come back.

Now planing to get a little bit more knowledge about audio and video.

a little story why i wanted to comeback.

I have listened to music for a few years now. i listen to Punjabi music ranging from old recordings of Yamla Jatt, Surinder Kaur and many more to list. as you all know that these recordings are not the super audiophilc (if that's a word) in nature. apart from this i listen to reggae, dub-steps. (I know not the best of the music type.).

I have always used a set of good old Creative EP630 to me they were always nice and very cheap.

in my car i was using some basic German speakers, surely they sounded way better than the usual DINCHAK pioneer and Sony xplodings.

I got a chance to listen to Beat audio. i was not able to make out much difference in the beat and creative. i know i am stupid. but yes i was sure that i did not like the beats for the price factor cause they were not being a value for money when i compared them.

After this is started reading a lot of on-line reviews about headphones and IEM's and ended up zeroing out on Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10. Now it was a lot of money to be spend on the IEM's that i had not even had a chance to hear. I started to hunt for a second hand pair.

Found one still expensive than most things that i could have bought brand new.

all that i can say now is that Tracks that i have listened for years have become more musical and i am just not able to tolerate (strong word) my Creatives any more.

I hope i will learn more about listening to music here.

Thanks
Amber the Desi.
