JVC QL-7 Speed Issues

and Pandurang also messed up my cueing lever and two feet broke from the bottom of the TT grrrr, this is not getting better! Don't know whether to take it back to him or not.. he even charged me Rs 550 for this!

Certainly don't!!! Find another guy pronto or post on an international forum for help. That TT is a pretty well known classic and there will be someone who can help you troubleshoot it by yourself.

Got my player back today. Had taken it back to Pandu, and he managed to get the parts needed to fix it. All good so far (*touch wood*). He even fixed the legs that had fallen off and the cueing arm is all good now too. He didn't charge me anything extra, thankfully. Hopefully it stays ok, coz the table itself is amazing!

I'm having the exact same problem with my QL-7. It's apparently a prevalent issue with this TT.

If anyone knows a place to take it in for repair in Tampa, please let me know. One repair center in north Tampa estimated $250 which seems quite high.
