Buy once, cry once. I've done the mistake of compromising on what I wanted in the past, due to price or delivery times and have always regretted it. Prem took his time, understood his speaker and has purchased components step by step to achieve a dream combo. He's bought it smartly as well, using simple wires along the way. Not wasting money on tweaks and cables. I think we should all learn from this. Save up, buy smart and buy right. Congrats Prem. Very proud of your setup, especially the way you went about it.

Am curious. Why do you say it’s unexpected? For nearly 20 years of my life I have always owned monoblocs and pre. It’s only in the last decade I experimented with single box solutions. They worked fine for single driver and high efficiency speakers. Now that I have gone back to 4 way speakers, I thought it was time to get the big boys back

I had thought you were completely in the "keep it simple" camp.

Lamm gear is great though. Built like battle tanks.
