Laptop to tv converter

how can i connect my laptop monitor to a normal tv
is there any converter available
in my laptop there is no hdmi port.
plz help ........

Which laptop you are using?

It depends on what type of laptop and TV u have. If you have a LCD TV and a laptop with VGA port, then just use a SVGA cable and connect both. Most of the LCDs do come with a VGA port. Its similar to connecting a projector to laptop.

thnks for ur reply i have lenovo laptop and normal 21" tv in my laptop svideo out is there when i connect it with svideo to tv out cable only black&white picture available,i try it with 3 different svideo out cable but nothing change , help me for a perfect any vga to tv out converter for me

I am using PC To TV Converter VGA to PAL Compo RCA + S-Video + VGA | eBay to connect PC/Laptop to my 29" CRT. It has both S video and RCA outs.

I am using similar very simple 4 pin S-video to RCA. Works fantastic on CRT. costed 50/- bucks.

May laptop was supplied with S-Video to RCA female Cable like this one. 4 PIN S-VIDEO male To AV /TV RCA Female Cable Adapter | eBay. You can get this cable in "Town Hall Road, Madurai".

As your Laptop has S video out,then S vid to video cable as suggested earlier should work.Now you need to lower the resolution in S video out,else it wont work.You need to check graphic settings in laptop too.
