sorry. i dint mean to be rude. I am also in the same place like you. am following this forum since one year. I meant to say you have to read about 2000 posts to decide on a model and 2000 other to research on that, just like i had to. now finally am settling on panny st30 new model 2011. you may get it at 66k this diwali with some offers. it is an excellent tv for 2d with 3d as an additional feature. good pq, same price as low or middle end led tvs but definitely at par or if not better than high end led tvs. if you want to stick at 45 k consider panny u30. but at just 20k extra you ll get better panel with 3d.you wont regret it as you are planning this investment for at least 5 to 7 years. All the best.

Ummm , but 3d is not any priority for me , and i saw Plasma of Panasonic but the reflections were too much , and i am going to place the TV opposite to a window. So Led and Lcd is the only option left for me!! :(

Apart from the addiction fo plasmas, did you compared the ST30 with the LG passive 3D models (LW4500 /LW5500 etc) which also is available at 65-70K ?. The passive 3D is better for the eyes. In my opinion passive 3D have the future even if there is some imperfections.

how have ur formed ur opinion abt reflections on plasma tv's?....tv showrooms or at some bodyelse house?.....if u r in through the first route(seen in tv showrooms in broad daylight) then u r in a big mistake!

Does that means reflections is not a problem as much as highlighted here ?

IMO, it is only to the same extend as in the CRT TVs in home. If the plasma is going to be placed in the same position, and you are not bothered about reflections on the CRT now, you can bear with reflections on the plasma as well.
