I would like to buy 55 inch 4k led TV.

Please share parameter list. Like contrast ratio, nit, local dim, panel type and etc. I will check all parameter and buy..

My preference, panel long lifespan, true natural colour..budget oriented

Demo piece in still not available in my City. based internet review. can trust on review posted youtube and forums and blob and news?

For 50k u will be limited to not so great tvs. Sansui vu mi Videocon Sanyo tcl etc. There is a very viewable difference in higher end LED and budget LED. Buy as per your choice and preference, easy of delivery, installation and most important, service in your city. Good luck.

If there is little difference in terms of picture quality. Why should I pay double money.. now. Panel selection.. ips or va. Which panel create beautiful and natural pictures. Or panel is not that much importance.

If there WAS only a little difference, then there would be no “brands”. Like someone on top said, the Mi is a good tv. It’s it meets your requirements and is suitable, by all means.

I am fine.. with no brands.. but what about reablity. If spend 50k then it least 5-7 years investment. Mi and Kodak.. which one is the best. I m still waiting answer regarding panel selection. Ips or va.. which one has failure ratio.

Nobody can predict failure of any panel. Each variant has their own positives/negatives
VA panel has better contrast ration with good black levels and bad viewing angles
IPS panel has good viewing angle but lacks contrast ratio when compared to VA panel
Which panel has better Color reproduction ?? It's debatable to decide a better one
Response time in VA panel is slightly worse than IPS panel

Almost all major LED manufacturers use VA panel these days, *Samsung Quantum dot display is also a VA panel
LG is the major brand which uses IPS panel these days in their LED range.

Thanks.. so should not stick panel. For va panel I have many choice. Mi TV has Samsung va panel and Samsung TV also using same va panel with double price.

In terms of pricing mi TV is better deal.

Is there any better option compare to mi TV ? If spend up to 60k..

In your budget 55" MiTv is the best option. My advice would be spend extra and get as many extra years of warranty that you possibly can.

On the debate of Budget v Branded TV's I will like to share my experience. I had an expensive Samsung LED which was top of the line for its time and worked as expected for 2 years and then a few months after its warranty ended it developed a catastrophic failure and at the cost of repairs I was better off buying a new TV.

This time round I said f*** it, I wont invest so much and got myself a VU 4k tv. To my surprise its a great TV in every aspect and way better than my older Samsung by virtue of being newer. Even guests with much more expensive TV's of their own have complemented me on how good the Tv looks. It upscales SDcontent really well and 720p and 1080p look awesome. In our country we are made to pay a premium for even HD content and how much 4k content is out there and how much of it is accessible? Sure TV's with bleeding edge tech will definitely look good but newer tech will always outshine the old and after a few weeks of use on mostly low def input will most people even care? End of the day, its your money and you do you.

I would say nothing below 1 lakh or at least 80k.
Few claim Vu looks good but without HDR and paying 15k extra for just 4K is useless even though Vu has better dimming system. HDR support makes hell lot of difference for any TV. It totally boils down to u'r choice. Personally, i would say MI because i trust the company more than any other currently in India. As every major brand tend to ignore Indian market and release age old models or second grade products in India at double the price(Take Samsung QLED range as example. They're still selling Q7F as premium model in India, whereas Q8F and Q9F are available in US
Quoted samsung prices(could be lower with dealer)
Q9F(US) 65 inch- 2.4 Lakh INR
Q8F(US) 65 inch - 1.9 Lakh INR
Q7F(US) 65 inch - 1.6 Lakh INR
Q7F(India) 65 inch - 4.4 Lakh INR
WTFFF )

On the other hand, I never trust a company which rebrands Hisense TV to directly claim their TV to be competing with Sony without having a proper reason and call other brands low class (Looking at you 'stranger re-branded company' Vu)

VU as a name has no value what so ever. Start the TV and you will know what VU tries to project of themselves and you I am left chucking. But the Hisense TV itself is a solid choice, the PQ and features are great for the price. Tho i must point out the Opera OS is c**p and calling it a smart tv is a joke.

MI Tv is the way to go for budget buyers.

You can get it repaired, or if repairing is not possible, then get some refund. I got 50% after using my Samy plasma for around 5 years as they don't have spares (panel etc).

I will suggest to get Mi Tv because its Value for Money and for normal Tv viewing and Movies it should be good. Aesthetically its looks great and Xiaomi will continue to develop and fine tune Patch OS. So it's better to get it rather than Kodak. Don't forget to get Extended Warranty.
