Led tv confusion

Need to buy a 42" led Ips panel tv ASAP. As I prefer an Ips panel , Samsung and Sony are out. Went to the Panasonic dealer and short listed :

42e3d ( 2011 model) @ 52k
42et50 (2012 model with 3d and 4 glasses) @ 65k

Please advise what should I go for. I am sure I will get the 2011 model for 51k . Is 3d worth the extra 14k as 3d content is still limited and very few movies are coming in 3D.

3D might not be worth so much -2/3 K difference was fine, please check for more differences bw 2011 and 2012 models. If nothing else has changed, go with 2011 model 42e3d... my 2 cents.
