Leeco Super3 X55

I guess the 4 series refer to the latest generation of TV.. Also it is 50 inch model and should be made locally (China), hence such prices.. THere is no mention of any warranty period anywhere on this link..

Most likely, i assume the 55 inch 4K TV is imported from china and sold here... So bit of duties & other charges extra and still priced 60K..

At the moment, i don't think there is any other manufacturer who can match the competitive pricing of Le Eco for the price they are offering.. (Not even VU or Micromax)

For what Le Eco is attempting to do in India, they should be highly appreciated.. Are we becoming greedy? :ohyeah:

Last year's model selling in India at double the price of the new model in China. I think not!

This current models will give them some idea how their products are received in India.. May be they will soon follow-up with the newer models around the festive season..

I am looking fwd to the launch, but apprehensive of the long term support besides the cons associated with the android based TV's. Wonder if the device will last 5 plus years on the current version of android which doesn't seem to get support given the same happening to the mobiles.

Yes, this is also one more point that we should consider. If the these companies want to stay in competition then they need to make sure regular support is available for their products... and anyways most of the LED life is max 5 years hence if we are covered for 4 years then it's a good deal i guess! what do you think?

One more important point: did you guys noticed that there is not a single review on the youtube for the picture quality and TVs response. All the videos are useless un-boxing. :ohyeah::mad:

True, agree with you. The unboxing ones are all promotional gimmicks to buildup the Aug 10 excitement.
The real reviews comes after ppl like us invest into the product and share experience.

The only review I have seen so far for this tv
This is for the x3 pro 55 inches
Difference between this and the Indian model is only 1gb ram more and 3D
Same graphic card same processor everything same

LeTV's X3-55 4K Smart TV | Imported Reviews

I have just joined the Community..So hi to all of you here. I am also curious about this product and found the community...

I don't think the review here is the same tv in India other the differences mentioned above. For starters the one in the above link says its 120 Hz refresh rate, the indian version is 60 Hz..From whatever review i had read a year back or so if the size is more than 42 inchs the refresh rate of 60Hz wouldn't be enough. So not sure how the picture quality would turn up for 55 inch.Does anyone know how the customer service for Le phones work? excellent/good/bad.

This review doesn't seem encouraging. 1 Broken English support
2 Inability to get standard apps from google app store
3 4k rendering compatibility
4 30/sec boot time
5 non IR remote
6 Price, considering its valued at 35-40 k and selling at 60k with duties.

Are we getting over excited on this?
With news of Phillips 65in 4k expected to also launch around 65k shortly!
Maybe few more too from the VU types bandwagon etc are already in that range!
The decision gets harder by the passing day.

Guys there is a big problem about this indian varient.. this model have native screen refersh rate of 60hz. but chinese one is 120hz. this is most important for motion flow... 60hz is very standard. since this is 55inch 4k tv. definetly it needs 120hz panel...

Hi, I am not sure if you have read the refresh rates facts in the same forum! you will be surprised what seller say and what actually it is.... Just to add to it I don't think many 4K TV have more then 60Hz refresh rate!

The check is simple, if your eyes see motion in the TV lagging then it is lagging or else it's good..

The Problem we won't be able to check this in any showroom. we just have to rely on people buying ,checking & sharing with us.

I had been to VU Showroom in Barter Center, MG Road, Bangalore twice on Eid and the following day(Saturday). Both days the showroom was closed. Calling them no response. Not at least a courtesy board displaying its a holiday or so. We checked with a neighbor company next door, and the lady was furious to say, "We are not a reception for Vu, we dont have any links with them." Had to say "We are coming from a far distance and did not want it to be the closed next time and sorry for disturbing you". Thanks Vu. Had to say sorry multiple times for making no mistake.

After continuous calling after a week, one guy picked up the call and said, the show room is closed(quoting there are no new models) and I can check with a retailer who sells the 50 inch VU TVs somewhere in Rajaji Nagar.

Fed up I did not go with Vu again.

Called up Infocus today and the CC was not sure if Infocus sells a extended warranty. Asked if the TV will work for 2-3 years, she said "may be". Nice job. I think these CC reps have no knowledge of the TVs and the companies they are working for.

Couldn't control my laughter! :ohyeah::D

You see customer support in India is not even reached a native stage. Your expectations would never be matched, ever!

I will mostly buy this tv but after my friend had bought it
From what I know in USA
This is very good for its price also had a very strong processor
What I am confused is the 55 had same graphic as the pro 55 but the pro has 3D
Also flipcart on the main page shows 2gb ram while inside in specifications shows 3G. Ram for the 55 inches
Need a Indian review also
Does this tv have usb 3.0
Some say it has one on top for webcam
One on the side
What about lan does it have gigabyte lan
Confusion are plenty for now

Its has two USB 3.0 at the back and one usb 3.0 at top for connecting HD webcams for skype and such. The base model which is the cheapest has 2gb ram and 8gb storage. Why do you want gigabyte lan when you get a WIFI inbuilt. Content provided is limited to 720p only even for HD channels. So far I can confirm Sonyhd and various channels work. Movies are also provided from Erosnow and the collection so far is good enough.
If you have a good internet connection you can watch tv channels and movies for free for 2 years.

Plan is to use this tv for 4K for scropion and Neo consoles made available end of next year
Gigabyte lab is needed cause I like to stream movie and tv serials from the computer using kodi and plex setup
Now I am using nexus player for this
Gigabyte lan is better streaming as I have a gigabyte router now
I also have Netflix and a lan connection is more preferable then wifi for this
