Can you share your impressions on the DD vs BD vs ID?

DD - this was clean clear full of everything but my friends say too clinical.
ED - this was warm vocal and good LF, I felt HF refinement are subject to setup.
BD - this was same like ED but LF was different, percussion of drum like instrument were tight while bass strings full.
So I am leaving it inconclusive. :)
 
Let me give you my impressions of the different TTs used by me in my listening room. Idlers like Garrard 301s are the ones which will impress anyone for their timing and throw and even though , I was never much of a Direct Drive fan, SP-25 has impressed me for it's clear mids and as OM said very clinical in its presentation. The suspended belt drives are very warm and laid back . My inference is that DD, ED and BD all sound different but my favorites are Thorens 125 with SME 3012 and Linn Sondek as I listen to a lot of country music as well as popular singers of 60's for which I prefer the suspended BDs
