LG LD 460- Zeroed in!

Hey Guys,
Its been a very long time since i have logged into the forum-apologize for that.

Ok, its time for me to replace my Full HD monitor with a decent LCD TV and i am thinking of getting the LG 42" LD 460 model. Enquired at various dealers here in hyd including Bajaj,E-zone,TMC and finally today at Reliance Digital. The price the dealer at RD quoted was 49500 and i was able to bring it down to 45000.

I am sure there are quite a few happy owners of LD 460 in this forum and i wanted to quickyl get your views before i go for the purchase this week.
My primary use will be PS3,HD rips and little bit of DTH TV. An yes i dont want to stretch beyond 45k

if you havent bought it .. also check the prices at X-cite.. ashoka metropoltian mall... banjara hills.. ask for sridhar.. tell him aman.. m sure we will be able to get better prices than the rest..

i bought it for 46000rs.it has 300w sound.but it has only 2 HDMI inputs and 1 USB.over all it is a good lcd tv. But it has only optical out. But my good old philips doesnot have a optical in. So thinking of burning my pockets for new HTS which has optical in. Still didnt came across any HTS.

Nice! sounds like a nice price. Do you play any games? like i wanted to know how good is the experience playing ps3/x360 games.

No bhasky , I dint buy that model . When we were checking for my friend they quoted the lowest price compared with other dealers... Finally my friend picked 42v20D panny.

LD 460 is a great VFM model , good picture quality in FULL HD, being LCD there is no reflection issue in my well lit drawing hall, most convenient feature is its USB port , i can connect my 1TB HDD and enjoy all the stuff

Picked up the tv last weekend from RD in inorbit. I must say that the tv is vfm and it gives an amazing experience for games and movies. Yet to watch a full fledged hd movie, but tested a few full hd rips and trailers on the ps3. USB is great too!

GT5 on the ps3 was a treat!!
