For sound. Logitech > Sony
Just have a look at features both provide and then decide. I would advise to dump both, increase your budget slightly and get a HTIB from yamaha, onkyo, Denon or pioneer.

Don't go with Logitech Z906..It's sounds good..But it's a very unstable system.Mine have changed 2 times within 14 months.It have very known problem like console problem and auto shut down issue.Finally now i am going for money back.Read the review of buyers in Flipkart.Also after 2 years of warranty if it have something then you should throw in dust bin because it is non repairable.Most of Logitech Z906 users have same issue and they change the whole set within warranty period.But the durability is very poor of this system..Don't go with it...
