I myself have an eye out for the Sony 55" HX
It is now being sold for approx 1.7L Its MRP used to be 2.59L just recently. The @holes at the Bajaj Allianz seem to be dragging their feet so i am waiting fingers crossed so that this price holds on for a few months more

2 lacs is a nice budget and you can get more than 60".... If your prefer LED go for Sony.. or Plasma samsung 63" for which you have to negotiate below 2L...However 50" plasma is available for 67K, why should shell out more than a lac for 13".

neways so hows this tv compared to other models.. but at that price they arent even giving the glasses free.. just the tv...

is it capable of 2d to 3d conversion ??

Our member dushie very long time back got for 1.58L(58"),should be roaming around the same price... but i suggest instead of going for that try for 63" which will be ultimate if your room size is large and 3D capable which will be future proof. MRP quoted around 3L is not worth and eyewash and it will be worth less than 2L..

panasonic vt20 is the best flatpanel avl, but no model between 50 and 65,
65" is obsecenely priced but because it is a 2010 model maybe you can get a bargain, try it,

I have TataSky HD+, and the SD channels are nothing to write home about, with known compression issues in the said box. But if you're going to use it for mostly HD viewing, which is what I'm eventually going to use it for, it would have to be a contender definitely. Good luck in your TV hunt!!

yup checked the hx800 today for 1.69 after bargain now ready for 1.67...

if nutin else works.. will go for the same on monday.. also checking on LG 55 led 3d..

Congrats! you won't be disappointed for sure.. it does support 2d to 3d conversion, but I haven't seen it personally as my TV is still only 3D ready and I don't yet have the transmitter or the glasses.. have saved it for a little later in the year.

World Cup on HD has been an absolute treat so far; if only India can start winning a few matches, it would be fantastic!
