Hey everyone, I am kinda new to this Hifi audio world and did a bit of my research online and in mags, would require everyones expert guidance......I am looking at a 7.1 ch HT sytem with a upscaling facillity AVR for a room of size 30ft X 25ft. And so far have narrowed down to the following 3 sytems -
-Yamaha RXV 571 AVR with Yamaha Ef series (NS 555 floorstanders, NS 333surrounds, NS C444 centre channel and YST SW315 subwoofer)
- Polk Audio Tsi 400 fllorstanders, Cs10 centre channel, OWM 3 surrounds, PSW 110 sub Denon 2113 AVR ,
- Jamo S 426 floorstanders, A3 centre channel, S602 surrounds, sub 200 sub woofer Denon 2113 AVR

All 3 are practically in the same price band I am sort of confused which one to finalise?????? Also if you have some other suggestions would be quite helpful......

thanks

Denon 2113 AVR with Polk Audio Tsi 400 would be an excellent choice for your room acoustics. As you've got a big enough room, you'll definitely need floorstanders.

Alternatively, you can check out the option of Yamaha RX-A810+Monitor Audio BX5 combination as well.

really all three are good although I have an personal inclination towards denon+polk combo.........hehe
anyway take which sound signature is best to ur ears only as only u are going to enjoy it.
try with good music/movie files...

Dear Friend, Polk speakers have a little bit of less maximum otput power when compared with the Yamaha system which has greater max input powers, does it really make a good amount of difference looking at the size of the room???? Secondly how good is yamaha as a company in HT speakers because most of the time in all forums yamaha is talked about for its AVRs and not speakers but polk is.....

Always heard the system and then decide but from the list I would prefer the polk system, then the Jamo and lastly the yamaha. Yamaha receivers are good but not sure about their speakers. If we talk about speakers then Polk would be better. Also have a look at polk RTi which is far better than TSi series.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
