Hello people! As the title suggests, I'm looking to buy some speakers for nearfield listening on a desk setup. My budget is around 30k. Both active and passive suggestions are fine, I'm willing to spend extra on an amplifier if needed.

Kali LP UNF is definitely on the list, the D3V isn't available in India yet as far as I can tell. JBL 308 is unfortunately too big for my desk. Thanks for the suggestions!- Kali LP UNF
- Adam Audio D3V (not sure if they're available in India yet).
- JBL 308 mkii
You'll need ronextend your budget a little bit, but the extra will be worth it. All the above are Active speakers.
True, tho I have tried the 306p mkii in the past and it worked fine, atleast in a well treated room. So I believe speakers specifically designed for nearfield use, which ends up being just studio monitors mostly, should fair fine. Unfortunately I haven't come across any coaxial designs in my budget. Thanks for the input however, I appreciate it.Nearfield speakers need to have their drivers very close together (coaxial will be the best), otherwise it will sound unintegrated and even slight movement of ears will cause a difference in the frequency response that your ears will hear.
I only delivered my mini- TL to a non- FM. It has a 3.5" magnesium cone Alpair full-range driver in it and they sound marvelous.Hello people! Yes.Is that something custom you made?
I've definitely been hearing a lot of good things about the LP-UNF, for my genres I think it'll be perfectly fine as I don't mind the lack of sub bass much. For now it's definitely the top contender for me, it's either that or I spend a bit more and just go for the LP-6v2. I was also considering Swan M200Mkiii+, but I can't find that many reviews on it other than Zeos, they do look really nice and from the few reviews it seems they're pretty decent too. 308 sadly too big for my desk!LP-UNF are awesome, but I do miss a bit of bass for the type of stuff I listen to. 308p definitely go lower

Good to know! I think it should be enough length for my desk, I do already have an audio interface so that's not really an issue, but definitely a nice to have. I'm leaning a bit towards the lp6 but let's see I might just get the unf since they're so smallLP-UNF has USB connectivity so you don't need an interface if connecting to a computer/phone. They are not big but beware. In india it comes iwth a 5 foot long cable so they can't be too far apart
