Looking for options to upgrade MC phono Pre Amp

I am also thinking about the same thing. Have read some reviews of the ifi phono 2. Whats your opinion regarding the same?

I am using iphono 1 on my PTP 4 with Thomas Schick arm and Denon DL 103. I was considering upgrading to iphono 2 but I understand that it's power supply has some issues though the iphono 2 is supposed to be outstanding in performance

I recommend M.A. cotter set up transformer. Best matching to SPU.

This is a reference level SUT and over 2500USD Used today ! one would need a really good MM Phono to go with it
This is pretty rare and you will need to look for a reliable seller.

Slagle EMIA is very good as well..I use that and am very happy with it.

I’m also using iPhono1 with an MM cartridge on one TT, plus an iPhono2 with MC on my second TT. The iPhono2 is indeed outstanding and a major leap up from the earlier model. The additional Gain is really handy with low-output cartridges. No problems with the power supply over two years of use. In fact, the power supply is supposed to be a major improvement over the earlier one, with a large drop in the noise specs.
