Hi,
i m planning to buy 46" LED TV (Full HD)/3d NOT MANDATORY. Budget is less than 80K.

I Heard Toshiba is having same vendor as SAMSUNG for Panel. Is this true. i head major of brand don't produce their Screen/panel. Please advice.

Cheers.
thx in adv/

Toshiba uses panels from many vendors and not just samsung.

With a 80k budget ,you can have a look at samsung series 6 of edge LED tvs.

I recently bought Samung D6000 46" TV and quite happy with it.
Maybe you can check that out.

Samsung really disappointed me in its picture quality. It is not generating natural colour, instead it produces high contrast images. But the most noticeable is the severe ghosting (eventhough with the extrapolated 100hz refresh rate). It has no Internet functionalities. Only advantage I felt for Samsung is its lower price compared to Sony EX 520.

The Pan ST30 would be a better buy.................an excellent tv!!!

thanks andy78
I am getting a 46" D5500 deal for ~82k
any idea what are the incremental features/upgrades between the two models?
also considering a PannyST30 (50") for 93k...

I'm pretty much happy with the model I purchased. I remember checking the D5500 as well but don't remember the specs. With D6000 model we are getting 3D Option.
Most of the folks here recommend Panasonic Plasma so it should be a good model.
