Looking to buy a new 40 or 42" 3d LED TV, Budget <1 lac

I would prefer Samsung..have you checkd.. Pana's VIERA TH-P42ST30D, spec wise looks good..I am not sure regarding the price..its just a suggestion..

According to the Panasonic dealer in Bangalore, 42ST30D is expected to be in stores by end of July '11. Price - Rs. 78,990

Samsung it has to be. Try UA40D6600 . Should come around 85 to 90k.

But the only thing which keeps me from a Samsung is the Active Shutter technology.. I understand it has better 3d clarity and all but whatever it is, Active shutter is a no no for me

Ok.. so I decided to risk it and buy the TV from Letsbuy using a Credit Card as only that had EMI.. Buy LG 42LW6500 42" LED 3D Full HD TV at Best Price in India - Also find Specifications, Photos, Features & Reviews

Got it to 83k using a discount coupon. After that I called Letsbuy CC and asked them to expedite. They took a request and said they've escalated it. Normally it says that the product will be delivered in 7 to 9 days.. Lets see in my case.

Earlier I'd called Citibank Customer care asking about buyer protection and that lady rep is blinking and asking me to spell it 2 or 3 times.. I was like WTF and explained the whole thing and in the end she took 2 mins and came back with the reply that there is no buyer protection and that only if a transaction was made by someone else using my card something can be done.. I was like OMG, how can Citibank do this.. Cannot even offer a buyer protection for a person who has been a patron for 4 years with a credit limit of 3L..

Anyway will keep you guys updated about the delivery times and stuff

I would anyday recommend you to go for Sharp LE830M if 2D picture quality is ur priority. It will cost u 75k, mumbai
