Maintaining LED TV's

I seek some of your inputs in maintaining the LED TV's such as cleaning the screen,avoid dust settling in the holes...

I placed my Sony HX850 TV near to a window approximately 2 meters from window and it is in the hall which is in ground floor..

There are more chance of getting dust since my home is situated next to a state highway..

Please suggest me..

Get yourself any micro-fiber made cloth for dusting. Do not use normal cloth as it may lead to scratches(though I understand that the screens are scratch proof). U can rub a little harder to remove any finger stains safely with the microfiber cloth.

Do we have flat panel TV covers that can be used when the TV is not in use ? For the CRTs, we have, but I am not sure if there are any ready-made TV covers for the flat panel screens of different sizes. These days, there are lots of constructions that are going on (in bigger cities) near the residential places and I am sure few people might be facing the dust problem.

Hmm. The concern is a valid one. But who would want to see their slim and sleek design TVs draped in a cover!

How to avoid dust getting settled into the holes of the back side of the TV

My cousin's house is near to a big construction site and he faces dust problem for the last 1 year (even with windows remaining closed). So he has simply covered his TV with a bed sheet which didn't look awkward at least to say. We both are not aware if there are any ready-made TV covers available for flat screen panels. I understand most of the flat panel TV owners would not like their flat screen panels to be draped with covers, but in case if some one has it, please let me know where it can be purchased in Bangalore.
