I think the Western Digital or the Asus O Play/HDR brands come to my mind for media players in this price. I think you meant optical output (rather than input). I have a Asus Oplay mini and got it last year for around 4k or less sorry do not remember the exact price and has the features that you are looking for. Its with my Dad connected over HDMI to a Sony Bravia V series LCD TV along with a 2TB HDD with movies/tv shows. It has also got a optical out. I got mine over ebay.in with some discount coupon.
