Not sure sir, I was not concentrating on bronze.
Golds can go further low as the takers will be less in that range.
 
My preference will be GS10 followed by GS20 followed by RS8 followed by others.

For the brief time I demoed the bronze, it did not impress. Particularly when golds and thiels are nearby.

The difference between silver and gold is so wide (both in pricing and sound quality) that you begin wondering how you liked the silvers in isolation. For instance, GS10 has similar bass to Rs8 which is a 3 way floorstander, a much much better midrange and hf and absolute coherence.

Throughout the internet you can find people mentioning how the new Rx6 has same drivers as GS series. Its all absolute bull shit. They are far apart in presentation. You have to Demo to believe.

If you can get hold of a demo GS10 for ~50k, consider yourself lucky to have got deal of the year.

There is a huge variation in sound and price across Monitor speaker models - Audition and wallet is the only solution
 
guys...guys...I had finalized the AE5+ mentally now this insane deal has come along...:D what do u guys say? AE5+ at 27k? (apparently quite audibly better than the original AE5) or the BR2 coupled with the Norge 2060?
 
wish I could audition them in delhi. gs20 and gs 60 seem to be very good options for both music and ht.

Unlike thiel, I can assure you on HT performance of monitor audio golds.
They have the bass extension and controlled highs required.
Midrange is inferior to thiel but the monitor audio center channel is one of the best and can help here.
Even silver performed superb for HT.

Danny doesn't have these?
 
no Danny doesn't have the GS or GX with him. If Jalal can send him a few pieces, they may sell like hot cakes. Guys this is a great opportunity to own next level speakers in the same budget.
