Another niche is westerns made between 1950's to 70's.
Ennio Morricone is maybe the best there was in spaghetti westerns.
Afterall it was him who composed the world's most recognized theme, the coyote cry of the good, the bad and the ugly.
PS : Ennio Morricone's "Sean Sean" in Duck you sucker aka A fistful of dynamite is a gem. A haunting / romantic theme which takes so many upward and downward surges that you are left speechless. Give it a try on youtube guys
