I have some trivia to add ...

I was hired as an extra in the movie Gandhi. I am there in the crowd scene, where Gandhi burns the passes given by the British to Indians and blacks. Later Gandhi gets beaten up and arrested.

I am almost invisible. Even I cannot spot myself. But the experience was good but very strenuous also. The filming was in May (at Fergusson College, Pune) in the hot sun. We were made to stand in the hot sun for almost 2 days while the shots were taken. But it was cery nice to meet and shake hands with Sir Richard Attenborough, Ben Kingsley, Amrish Puri, etc.

Congratulations to the only known actor among us:clapping::D.

Children Of Men and Pan's Labyrinth (2006) - amazing blu-ray transfers. Must have as demo discs.

Avatar - the obvious choice. This one can make even a shabby display look real good. If it looks bad then the display is not even worth a paisa.

How come, we missed reading about your "affairs" in Stardust !!

(In the 80s an actor was not an actor until his affairs find place in Stardust)

Regds

Not that I did not try. But no one would have an affair with me ...

The Day The Earth Stood Still (1951) - B/W never looked so good in high def.

I seond that. I liked the original (1951) better than the new. And that was after seeing the new one first.

The new LOTR Extended Edition Bluray set is out for preorder on flipkart. Each movie is on two bluray discs. Costs a steep 5100 rupees but is probably worth it if you are an LOTR fan.

Check out our special offers on Stereo Package & Bundles for all budget types.
