My 47" LD650 Review

Max123_ind congrats, a nice buy.
I'm also going to purchase this TV very soon, just wanted to confirm about the number of HDMI ports. Are there 2 or 3?

Total of 4 HDMI ports (3 rear, 1 on the left side)

I am getting sammy 46 of 98k and lg 47 for 78k with goodies. Is there much diffence in PQ for SD and HD contents b/w sammy and lg.

I have read a lot of reviews and spent months researching. Do yourself a favor, take a USB drive, a blu ray disc and some DVDs if you watch a lot of DVDs.. See the picture in LG and Samsung.. buy what looks best to YOUR eyes.. that is what I did... and yours may differ.. you won't know till you go and see it for yourself..

I bought it solely for HD viewing.. had I also wanted to watch SD content I would have looked more closely... HTH.

And trust me, watching the same BluRay on a 42 incher and 46 incher is miles miles apart.. you will simply love the real estate..

have you tried with SD content, how is it.. We watch 70% SD content at home.. how is the quality

LD 650 - Already Replaced twice, third is also defective

I bought 42'LD650...

As it panel had color problems it was replaced a month later. However, the next TV also had the panel issues & was replaced 3 weeks later.

Now the third TV has speaker issues as the voice cracks..

What should I do?

Should I seek damages or Seek a replacement with LED model?

Replacement with Upper model LE5500/LE5300 is not a good option as LD650 has superiror picture quality.


Please advice....I love the TV as it has the best colour quality..

Should I ask for replacement with a higher model. LED Jazz & 5300/5500 are pale in front of LD650..

How about approaching the consumer court.
