My first attempt at setting up a Hi-Fi system

Finally managed to get my Hi-Fi system in place :yahoo:

Quadral Ascent 90 Speakers
Naim Nait 5i Mk 11 Integrated Amp
Cambridge Audio Azur 651C CD player
Musical Fidelity M1 DAC
Kimber Kable 8PR speaker cables

Must admit the journey of auditioning the components and then choosing one was really awesome :clapping:

Congratulations. Thats a great start for a first attempt. The Naims are really nice!

@APK - I just spent good 90 minutes auditioning the ATC SCM40. Will share my experience soon.

@reignofchaos - my stereo speaker also serves as my front left and right for my HT setup. Buying any ATC speaker meant investing 150k INR on the entry level ATC center speaker which I could not afford :) Mr Palani from Audio Planet is the dealer for Quadral Speakers in Bangalore.

@hifipall4all - CD player to DAC = QED Performance Coaxial, DAC to AMP = Cambridge Audio 300 series, Ordinary spike buster for connecting all the components.

Ah if this is dual purpose, then the ATC would end up being very very expensive.

Just curious - does the naim have an HT bypass function? How do you connect your HT amp to the stereo amp?

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
