It will have a more simple cross-over than that used with Atish's TL FS and enhanced design concepts for the Aluminium dome tweeter which i will be testing with this design (i would not want to test this with Atish's design as modification would have been difficult later). I will want to try a much lower cross-over frequency to have a very open mid-range and detailed highs. The acoustic roll-off of the tweeter will be used to its advantage in this design which was not so in the case of Atish's design. Let's see how both of them fare.

Instead of going 2-way here, why not try out with single driver full range? Yes, the drivers' cost would be higher @ 2.5 times, but might be worth it in the long run. Frankly, I was for it in my speakers. Just one thing went against me trying it out .... an already procured very high power integrated amplier which would not have done justice to the lower power requirements of a full range driver. A full range within 4" to 6" would be sufficient, IMHO.

i think a full ranger will do better justice to maybe Class A type amplifier about 30W. There have high sensitivity.

The probelm with high sensitivity is that you tend to lose some sonic detail as the speaker approaches its max power handling TOO quickly.

Fostex 166EN should be around 92dB/w/m after the compensation network and should be quite ok for the NAD amplifier. Only the 206en is more sensitive (around 94db/w/m after the compensation network) and should be a concern. Always remember that the cross-over is some kind of a necessary evil.
