hi all guys..
this is to show case u my vintage projector.
i have a elmo brand super 8 reel projector. with sound.
i was too much enthuastic of pjs . spcly the reel ones .
my freind gave me 100 reels coloured of films all of uk.
with box . i was so much lucky to c it . they must be around 30-40 yrs old. he gave me free of cost . but where to c it .luckily afetr going 2-3 times to chor bazar found one shop dealing in vintage pjs
he also got 16 mm reel pj not suotable for home use only theaters.
he aranged two pj s for me one was elmo other was yashica if not wrong 6000 was the no. one of my old freind parsi suggested me to deal in elmo the best for home use . the bulb is also available . can u guys belive how much i got the scren for any guess? rs 300 only good no probs ok. still using it . this is to share my vintage memories with u.

Superb stuff mate. Next time I am in Mumbai, I would like to drop by for a movie - sound of music or love bug-53 please :).

Also, if you or anyone have an old reel, please gift it to me. Even non-working is fine as I don't intend to play it, but would prefer good cosmetic condition. I have just bought a memorabalia reel box from Universal Studios Singapore (the theme park) for my Home Theater decor.
 
WOW....This just reminds me of movies that we used to see in school days (I come from small town). Is there any place where we can buy these (second hand of course), and what would be probable cost of this ?
Any pointers appreciated.

gramophones was my passion. from my childhood days.
nice to c a horn gramophone. i use to read edison books on phonograph. my great grand father had a big box gramophone in my village. its a paramount its still in working condtn. i use to collect 78 rec from scrap people starting rs 2 onwards and collectd them as many i can know more than 500 records. hello,
i have nos of pocket watches
1- railway regulator
2-westend
3-oxus
4-Belford
5-favre lueba

i have to wind around 30 watches a day, to keep them tickling for a day.
wall clocks around 5 off them to work for a week.
only thing is u get buzed when they strike at same time, so no one can sleep in my room... i too have a cuckoo watch working on weights..
my entire room is packed with diff types of vintage stuff.
i love my vintage collection & is a passion to collect them.
searching for a vintage scale model steam powerd locomotive
quite epensive. i have some hornby collection. with me

You have to get registered yourself with imageshack.us
You can upload your images to imageshack and share url of your image(copy full size forum url in share option)

simply amazing stuff...amazing!!

the super-8 projector brought back childhood memories, our experiments with slide projectors.

i would love to buy an old gramaphone someday for my music room in my new home, wife would love to have one of those chiming wall clocks and a vintage telephone...
