I need to buy a microphone for group singing in our community. These could be in sitting positions for bhajans or standing positions for singing in chorus.
It should work in a closed space like a hall as well as in an open ground during Independence day type celebrations.
Googling suggests I buy a cardoid condensor type mic.
Budget would be 5-10k INR.
Any suggestions?
What else, do I need to consider in terms of connecting and in terms of stands? Currently we have an all in one JBL party box (https://in.jbl.com/Party-speakers/J...eJmkvUv2D-IdkIhSTdj6qiejg67MlXqgaAkUBEALw_wcB) to which this will connect to. While not ideal, it does its job and can handle all kind of source music.
We currently have two mics both dynamic ones which work well for individual singing or speech but obviously fail in group scenarios.
