Need a suggestion for a TV at 40k

sam 4900 is the model under 50k with best picture...thats clear choice.
if you dont like plasma try toshiba led/lcd will be under 50k as well

Hi Prosenjit, the Toshiba under 50k was not good. I did pick a Samsung any day. Only serious issue is viewing angles. Violets drop off quite a bit and pictures look washed out. To be fair it is much better than last year.

Guys, I finally increased budget and ordered a LG 42LN5710 at 51k.(market price 58.5k)

After a lot of deliberation, and mostly letting the family members decide between the LGs and the Samsungs. The decision was made.

I think the TV is mostly at par with the F5100 but has better connectivity options(more HDMI, USB.) Also SD picture was more or less similar in both. I went for the bigger TV. And the price clinched it! :)

@just4kix,shaiju: Thanks a lot! Its sitting at home waiting for installation.

Also, special mention to Shaiju who also accompanied me to the showroom, during the research for the TV. Thanks dude! :)
