What are you planning to get it from there ? AVR, speakers & Subwoofer ?

Hope you are aware that AVR in US are 110V.. you will need to procure a step-down transformer for the same..

There are various options available. Choice depends upon personal taste, audition, etc.
I could not find which city you are located in. Depending on that you will get options for audition.

I personally prefer products from India authorised dealers because of 230V compatibility and warranty. But many forum members prefer to import for lower costs and puny 1 yr warranty in India which is probably not worthwhile.

Now getting to the components. If you already have source (like bluray player/nmedia player/HTPC, etc) and display (TV/projector), you will need AVR, speakers, subwoofer and cables. As a starting point you can consider Denon x2300 receiver at aroung 65K. Front speakers you can look at towers/bookshelves from Polk/Dali/Wharfedale/Elac/Q acoustics/Monitor audio, just to name a few. If you can't audition, browse through reviews in various forums. Center speaker should preferably be from same series as fronts. For subwoofer SVS PB-1000 (single) may be a good fit for your room and budget.

Check with your cousin whether he will be able to carry entire stuff. Else, you check Indian market before you decide. Personally I dont think its worth the hassle of carrying AVR/speakers from US due to the weight and the voltage differences.
However, if you are interested in a projector, you can import one from US as most of the projectors which are sold in US are dual voltage compatible. Try Optoma/ BenQ/ Epson/ Viewsonic models which are cheaper there compared to India

Yes bro, but i want the best model

High end AVR cost more than $1,000 in US.. and good chances you will be asked to pay duty for it when you get it to India..

If the total value of the goods is more than 50K, you will be asked to pay duty..

Atleast try to get speakers alone from there, which can add up to/or lil over allowed baggage allowance.. Also chances you can skip duty..

Today i had demo on denon x6300h avr with paradigm speaker but subwoofer not up to the mark
