Need Help in Setting up A Music/ Move Theatre System

Hello Friends, I am totally confused please help. I have a budget of rs 50,000 - Rs 55,000 INR. I need a good music system for my hall which also serves the purpose of movies like a HT system. I want to enjoy music crystal clear like live music like concerts and all. I am confused whether to buy -

1. AMP + 5. 1 Speakers ( Please suggest the name and model of both amp and speakers ) or to buy

2. Sony's Hi - Fi Music Systems

Please advise....

Sony should not be your obvious choice when it comes to home theaters. At this budget you can get a good AVR for around Rs.25000. And then, get individual speakers or a Speaker Package set, look around for the Boston Acoustics package. Also, mention your room size and requirements.

I wish I had 55K. Anyway ditch the sony go for Yamaha AVR with Good speakers

pioneer vsx 323 + rs 33 speaker package ( front towers ) will be good for music as well

I think there is a combo package offer on hifimart (marantz AVR + BA 5.1 XS)............excellent system!!!
You need a good AVR (Marantz, Denon, Onkyo, Yamaha) paired with a good 5.1 speaker system. Remember to hear the system before you buy. Some speakers sound better with some AVRs.
