Need help on selecting 42~46 inch TV.

I am looking forward to buy a new TV for my parents.
The TV shall be full function (USB input, PC imput, HDMI, Audio Out etc).

one of the toshiba models caught my eye-

Can you experts let me know if its worth that money?

First look at picture quality than look features. A CCFL backlit LCD deliver worse PQ.

What could be wrong with this model? It supports Full HD 1080.
Also whats wrong with the CCFL backlight? I personally Find LCD TV better for eyes than LED TV. anyways whatever LED TVs we get are NOT TRUE AMOLED like Samsung and Nokia phones, they are just Edge LED lit rather than CCFL. I feel LED TVs have more glare even with brightness on low.

but has Advanced IPS LED Panel
so its a LED LCD TV or just a LCD TV ??

Well you cant expect more from this TV since its price is cheaper than the AKAI 46 inch model (48k) . I would suggest you if you for 50k budget 40-42 inch you will get better products

My budget is 70k max and I wanted to buy a 46 inch LED TV but most of the models I am not able to accommodate because of width constraint as where i will put my TV on one side there is main door and on other kitchen entrance .

Samsung 7 & 8 LED series models accommodate but its totally out of my budget.

My viewing distance is 12-13 ft

The only models i guess which can come looking all major factor would be only
Toshiba 46VL20
Toshiba 46TL20
Toshiba 46PX200
Toshiba 46PS20

I would be watching news channels a lot and also daily soaps so need good picture quality
Also would be watching movies with my 1TB HDD
No gaming
3D not required ( just an advantage ) wont be using once a month also

So which one to go for ??

persons who say lcds panels with ccfl backlight are of worst pq have not demoed them themselves..just has read somewhre and copy pasting the lines.I personally own sony lcd 40 inch...and find its pq better anytime than led panles..........
led panels are brightere anyway and looks real real fantastic for discovery/nat geo hd programmes..but very ugly looking for movies.the movies color palatte is lost somewhere in led panles.....

have anyone visited a quality multiplex who run a show with a color pallate like led panels........answer is no.so why choosing led for movies.anyway also demo led...if it pleases you go for it.for led try sony ex models.

and off course plasma are boss.no competetion with them except very very high end led panels.even there the movie touch is little missing.
