I purchased klipsch rp280f speakers from soundstagedirect.com. he send package through UPS courier. from 24-08-2017 the package at customs Mumbai. UPS not giving proper answer and telling to wait. Suggest me what to do now

Hi

You need to contact Soundstage as they are the ones who sent the same....they can check and see why it is stuck at transit location....

This could also be due to Octroi and Tax issues ..which typically you may need to bear....

Call UPS on their toll free number and provide the consignment number...you can get further details that way...online may show limited information

It seems to be an expensive item, so the customs want to compute the tax duties etc. I can only ask you to call up UPS and find out as to where it is stuck. I pray in the mean time that all goes well.

Simultaneously I would suggest to take up the matter with the seller also, if the required duties and taxes have been paid to the courier by them no reason why the product should get stuck. Get a clarification from over mail informing the item is not delivered till date.

I got imported my projector through newegg, which was shipped by UPS, did not find any hassle whatsoever, was delivered on time. I had paid the taxes and duties to the seller at the time of purchase.

My order date is 23rd July 2017, they shipped on 18th August, today is 18th September. Still they are telling to wait, mean while the card used for payment on soundstagedirect.com was mis used by some one in USA on 27th july

You should be follow the exact same steps to resolve, if this were not audio related....

I am thinking I bought an expensive Persian carpet online outside of India....BTW same steps apply except for imports if you bought within India too

Follow up with courier for late/missed delivery, insurance
Work with bank for credit card compromise
Follow up with seller on tracking and confirmation
Get more info on customs hold, import duties, etc...
