Need recommendation for amp/ preamp combo/ best setup to drive be718 pair

Mostly for classical music listening. Thanks
Budget ?
I would explore tubes. I would give Prima Luna a listen. If you want an integrated they have one. You want separates they have that too. And amps that can use KT-88, KT-90, KT-120 and such like if you want more power from them.

If the choice is SS, then the likes of Rega, Roksan(if available), Quad. Nad M-series could be an option if in the budget and if not then the ubiquitous C series is always there.

I have listed amps from a range thats considered affordable yet promising not knowing the budget.

Thanks. Budget is flexible. Would prefer tube. Looking more for quality of music and experience. I am in Chennai. Would love to walk into any listening sessions if possible.

I have an txnr906 based av receiver for movie watching purposes. Now want to build out pure stereo setup for music.

Which amp do you use ?
I use a big fat mccormack pre-power. These speakers are roughly 84-85dB sensitive and have funny electrical phase angles in the impedance trace. Tubes just won't sound great.

I recently upgraded to a pair of ATC SCM19 monitors. With the same chain, they give me what the Be718 doesn't - midrange clarity. The mids in the Be718 sound muffled a bit in comparison.

Loved the mccormacks ! Had the opportunity to buy one a decade ago and didnt. Still kick myself for not doing it.

Any further guidance here? I remember discussion from Odyssey earlier on this topic though I do not if any one is active
There are many fms using AP products. They products are fine tuned to reproduce live classical sessions that they also conduct.

Doesn't work. The AP amps I auditioned at home lack the current and drive. It's a bad match.

Ohh okay. Tried an All AP setup? I think few FMs have that. I had an AP tube preamp. As a unit it was good, however sold it as it did not go well with my power amp.

Thanks much gentlemen for the guidance. How about a tube pre and ss power amplifier. Would that work? If so any combo recommendation. @reignofchaos - would - https://lebenhifi.com/products/cs1000p.html work as Poweramp to drive be718?
