Need suggestions to fill the speakers stands.

I filled it with M-sand, but I used a kitchen flour sifter to make it fine. and I don't have any issues; it worked perfectly. no vibration or rattling noises.
What is M-sand? You could provide a link where you purchased it? Need to fill my speaker stands too..

M-sand (Manufactured sand), i mean fine course of rock from quarry it use for all kind of construction work. I brought it from a local dealer.i dont think its available online. you can check with your local construction supplier.

you can also use aquarium sand something looks like sugar but it will be little expensive to fill both the speaker stands.

Instead of aquarium sand, you can fill with 5mm marble chips which is available in different colors. Just wash & dry, fill the pillar upto 3/4th of the volume, that's enough. This chips will be dust free, won't be caked or stucked inside, won't make the metal rusty. First put 5kg in each pillar. If it's needed further then you can add.

very finely powered materials only add dead weight to the speaker stand; it doesn't absorb vibration. because of its tightly packed particles. same for bigger course materials like gravels or other materials; they don't touch each other due to their irregular shape or particle size, so they pass vibrations. So we should add the right proposal materials. So I am not sure about gravel or chips.
