Need to buy 3D Active glass for LG Plasma.

Hi All,

I have just ordered LG 50PM6700 from online deal. This deal doesn't include 3d Glasses. I would like to know:
1) Is there a specific model needed for plasma? I know 3D Active Shutter is needed for sure.
2) Is there any compatibility issue with universal 3d glasses with LG Plasma TV?
3) What is current price?
4) Any pointer for good deal?

LG is not at all using Active shutter glass. You need to look for Passive glasses for sure. Even movie theatre glasses should work with LG tv.

LG uses active shutter glasses for its plasma line of TVs. For the LEDs it uses passive glasses.

Yep, afaik the LG plasmas use active shutter 3D glasses. You can get cheap(er) ones on amazon and ebay.

@Bhupesh : While sourcing the glasses, make sure they specifically support LG TVs - as not every Active 3D glasses would be compatible with the LG TV..

Just pointing it out so that you don't end up getting ripped off..

Your specific model seems to use AG-S350 - which uses bluetooth protocol.
If required post links here to clarify any prospective models you have shortlisted..

I have a 2 pairs of 3d glasses( TY-ER3D4SW(rechargeable) .) ,brand new ,unopened . Got it with my plasma .Let me know you want to buy.I put these on for sale ,but my thread is not showing up .
