Last of the great human beings of 20th century is no more, Nelson Mandela, the champion of freedom and humanity has passed away aged 95.
My humble tribute to one of the greatest souls mankind ever produced.

Nelson Mandela was the real inheritor of Mahatma Gandhi's legacy of non violence. A man who suffered immensely under the apartheid regime, underwent torture and imprisonment for decades yet forgave his tormentors for the sake of peace and stability of his country! He didn't lust after power and fame. A lesson for those in India who claim to be the Mahatma's followers!

One of the greatest humanists of the 20 century. He is indeed a rock star for many of us. RIP.

I have always griped about 2013 claiming one more but i suppose in many ways thats not fair as time and tide have their own ways of settling things.

Sh NM and Sh MKG were 2 of history's colossal giants ( for lack of even a larger word ) to have served Africa and India ( and through their work - all of the world)
