So is Hose finally admitting that its HT effect is the same the stock speakers that come with a TV?

Bose sells for roughly the same price everywhere. You should be able to get this for like 2.5 to at most 3 lacs here.

However, it isn't worth over a lac or so I guess.

I was part of the introduction mailer, their marketing Team is awesome, the video demo was excellent about how the speaker is positioned and how it does surround sound. Unfortunately i don't find much information on Video side. Looks like they are bothered only the sound part

Does they mention any " conventional" standards like 1080 P ,DTS,DTS-HD MA, Dolby Digital , etc..??

Bose follow their own standard, so they don't mention conventional standard .. their audio system was not THX certified or may be they have not tried ..

BTW 46 Incher so someone can find pannel supplier

My take

60 Inch Display + Meda Player+ BD+ HT or Sound bar and save money!!
