New HD channels on Airtel

1. Check if you are getting chanel 999, if yes, then the orientation of the dish is fine.
2.Also as its been happening that Airtel have outsourced the technical work on DTH .

I do get channel 999. But as you know, these Airtel guys are not much knowledgeable and most of the time just do hit and trial method.

Yesterday that Airtel engineer had also covered LNB with aluminium foil. He expected that this will resolve the software download issue. Is it a good idea to cover the LNB with foil? He left it as it is. Please let me know if that can cause any issue. If yes, then I will ask them to remove it.
