New LCD tv

hello folks,

i am going to buy one 32 LCD...i am more inclined to Panasonic than Samsung..
Here in this form most of the members voted for Panasonic is this voting is only for Plasmas or LCD's are also good in panasonic..
why i inclined to panasonic is when i been to one showroom , this panasonic is more stunning than samsung..i am noob in TV terms and technology..
pls help me in buying nice LCD..
requirements:
1)Good picture quality
2)Durability
3)35 to 40K(INR, i am from india)..

i could not see any direct comparision between Samsung and Panasonic in LCD segment..

Panasonics are better for Plasma's. U should also check out the LG 32LE550. LG is currently top of teh game in LCD, owing to their S-IPS technology.

I own a pana 42u20 ,its picture is awesome compared to sammy and quality of pana always good for ages only con is that it wont have a usb port and doesn't got 100hz motion which is not a big deal , I prefer pana as a proud owner

My suggestion is, goto a shop and look at the models in 35 to 40 and shortlist based on what you liked. Have a top 3 and then discuss. It will be objective. What I like you might not, so do the first level home work. Also post what you will be watching, viewing distance etc. At the price range you mentioned you can even buy a 42inch plasma.
