All,

I am getting problem of display when i connect my PC to AVR thru HDMI..

I have Nvidia GT 520 graphics card.. it works well when i connect HDMI to TV.. but when i connect HDMI to AVR then there is no display..

Is there any setting in graphics which i need to care of before connecting it to AVR ..??

Thanks in advance for the help...

Vikram..

Did u check right mode is selected in AVR for display out to TV?
When you connect HDMI to AVR, is it the only display connected or is there any other display like monitor/another TV?

What is the OS used in PC?

Yes, i selected the right Source in my AVR... I tried with two different HDMI ports in AVR but still no display..

It is the only display..

I am using Windows 7..

Pliz tell the AVR model? Someone might be able to help if there is some known issue.

Also try switch off and on AVR after connecting the PC to AVR. (This will resolve if there is any HDMI handsake issue)

Is the cable used to connect TV and AVR same?

AVR is Marantz SR5006..

By the way.. issue has been resolved..

In Marantz i had to set the Input and it was Done.. Connected HDMI cable to DVD HDMI input in AVR and then in the AVR's input setting just selected the port no.. In my case it was HDMI 2 (for DVD) and it's done.. :)

Another issue which i am facing now is no DTS audio from the AVR...

When i play a normal movie decoded with Dolby, i hear a sound but when i play movie with DTS sound then AVR shows no signal.. I have set the settings for Pass Through in the player but still.. Any workaround ..??
